Mezzaluna Pizzeria

Mezzaluna is a family owned restaurant and pizzeria. "Mezzaluna" in Italian means half moon so that is where the logo is derived from. A mezzaluna also is a blade chefs use to chop up herbs. My approach on the logo was to keep the aesthetics of the moon but refine it where the type can play with the meaning of Mezzaluna.
